Attorney Maritza has been in the legal field for 17 years. She has a bachelor’s degree from University of California Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor from Pacific Coast University School of Law in Long Beach, California. While attending law school part-time, she was a full-time Judicial Assistant/Court Clerk for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Maritza has experience in traffic, criminal, civil and family law.

During her time with the Los Angeles Superior Court she worked in the traffic and criminal departments in the clerk’s office at Huntington Park and Downey courthouses in the County of Los Angeles. She later became a Judicial Assistant training and working at Alhambra, Beverly Hills, Downey, El Monte, Torrance and Norwalk courthouses.

Attorney Maritza left Los Angeles Superior Court and became a Courtroom Operations Supervisor for Orange County Superior Court in Small Claims, Limited/Unlimited Civil and Civil Complex. She was in charge of seven (7) courtrooms.

Attorney Maritza also interned with Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for six (6) months in the Hardcore Gangs Unit.

Attorney Maritza was an enlisted Specialist in the Army National Guard and is very proud to have served in the armed forces and be an Army Veteran. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
